The rain in Spain...

...falls mainly on the weekends. In the mountains. When I'm trying to climb.

I was ultimately able to get a few climbs in after the weather cleared up somewhat, but friction-climbing on slippery granite was a very educational experience. The pics were taken from about 2/3rds up the face. As beautiful as this is, it's still not the nicest place I've been climbing here. That's the sea in the distance. The last pic is me, from a couple of trips ago. Next time Marie comes we'll get a pic of her too.

Fantastic, almost as cool as climbing in momentum here. Keep the photos and movies coming. I do enjoy them.

Ah, we'll definitely have to set some time aside for a trip to Momentum in August then.

Hey Marie! I haven't heard from yo uin a long time and I ran acrossed your blog and wanted to say hi! It looks liek you and your hubby get to travel a lot. How fun. That would be a blast. I wish we could travel more but with two kids it is a little difficult.
Hope to hear from you soon! Come check out my blog...

Andrew -

You certainly add a new dimension to our family. And now you've got Marie climbing, too. Unbelievable! Keep it up, but be safe.
Sometimes in the evening I just go to the backyard, turn on the fountain, and enjoy the pond. I really wish I could put fish in there, but I'm concerned I would be attracting a lot of unwanted critters, although I haven't seen a possum or racoon this year. I wonder if someone's killing them off. But have plenty of squirrels.

I'm really looking forward to seeing you and Marie soon.

How's the job going?

Love to you and Marie.

I love love love this! Now I get to keep up with your exciting lives, roaming about Europe whatnot. In fact, I was so excited I showed Christina Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and told her that was where you guys went on your mission. I think she was scared.

Dad, just to let you in on who some of the comments are from, Kimi was my MTC companion and sojo and manini are Jody and Sofia Lykes. You're always asking about them so now you can follow the link in our list of friends to the side of our blog and read up on their blog. Just thought you'd be interested to know.

And Kimi, wow, it has been so long. I'm not on facebook or myspace or anything and so I feel so out of touch with people. So glad you found us.

And Sojo and Manini, same goes to you. I'm so glad the wonders of the internet can reform the bonds that leaving Utah broke. We miss bad movie and good dinner nights although after Nip/Tuck on Tuesdays here they tend to show some pretty bad movies. We're just rarely up to staying up to enjoy them. No fun without friends.
